Cell Phone Cloning Surges
Illegal copying of cell phones in South Korea has quadrupled this year, according to a Ministry of Information and Communication report released Wednesday. Authorities seized 4,718 pirated handsets in the first eight months of this year, up from 858 for all of last year, it said.The statistics were submitted to the National Assembly as part of an annual parliamentary inspection.
